Be straightforward they say... by Ailda Be straightforward they say... by Ailda
...I get ignored, I say.

This is my entry for the Spirit Day. And it's a true story, i'm bi and as i'm too straightforward, no one believes me! Geez! Do I have to wak with a neon signal telling people I like both guys and girls?! :iconsawthatplz: Nah, I joke.

Before you make a fuss out of this, I'm going to explain, so you don't misunderstand my point here. This was in spite of Spirit Day, there are people getting bullied because of this, and, seeing as it happens the exact opposite to me, I decided to make a comic about it. I'm not making fun, it's just a comic with my vision of the facts!

I don’t go shouting that I’m bi, the last panel is an exaggeration for the so called ‘comic relief’ – the thing here is simple, I don’t hide what I am, they get suspicious, ask, and I answer so naturally that they simply think I’m joking.

Seriously, it’s not important to me that they believe me or not, it's not as if they believing is my life support, but of course it bothered me enough to make a comic about it. What happens to ME is that I find it kind of frustrating when you’re talking about something serious and people don’t take you serious. That’s what this is about

Again, This is not about what OTHERS think, it's about ME don't like the fact i'm not being taken seriously. Please try to understand :) I'm not telling you to agree with me, but please, accept, or even just try to understand my point of view on the matter.

THIS WORK DOES NOT INTEND TO OFFEND ANYONE! IT'S JUST A PORTRAIT OF WHAT HAPPENED TO ME! But seriously, awesome lovely diferent sexually oriented people...you don't have to get all shy about it, I think it's just curiosity...and the human being is curious! There's nothing wrong with that! And in this crisis the best we can do is spread the loove duuudes! SPREAD THE LOVE! :iconheart3plz:

Made on Sai and PS, ost count of the hours... fortunately, purple is my favorite color, so that was the best part!

NOW AWESOME PEOPLE, BE HAPPY, SPREAD THE LOVE! :iconsuperw00tplz:

i believe its a really good thing that you accepted yourself as bisexual this well, but i also think you shouldn't care what others say... important is that you will find your special someone :3 that may sound way too cheesy...

it's not that I care about what others think - what I am won't change. What annoys me is that they simply won't believe me and think it's a joke! I'm not a joke! That's my point.

But as I said, it's not like I have something to prove :)

You’re kinda misunderstanding my point here. This was in spite of Spirit Day, there are people getting bullied because of this, and, seeing as it happens the exact opposite to me, I decided to make a comic about it.

No, what you are don't concern me. Now you're telling me you're hetero, imagine that being hetero wasn't the normal thing and everyone thought you were joking. Can you tell me you wouldn't mind it one bit? That no one took you serious? Would you, honestly, not feel a thing? not even a tiny bit of annoyance?

I said it in the description, I don't really care, it's not as if they believing is my life support, but of course it bothered me a little, even enough to make a comic.

This is not about what OTHERS think, it's about ME don't being taken seriously. Please try to understand :)

Opinon? Nothing of the sorts, I'm not asking anyone his/her vision of the topic, I'm just sharing my vision to others. It's very different. :)

I fell fine with me, but not anyone is as open as I am, so imagine this scenary: a girl (lesbian/bi/wtv) that's still in the closet likes me, but she won't make her move because she's insecure about my orientation, but, if if she already knows, maybe she'll make her move. Doesn't mean it would end in anything but you get my point?

Don't worry about it :) And thank you for your kind words :iconsweethugplz:
